Marian qualified as a solicitor in September 2006. She moved to Tuckers to work in the Police Actions Department on completion of her training contract at Bindman & Partners.

Marian previously worked at the human rights organisation Amnesty International, after which she studied part-time for a law degree at Birkbeck College. She is committed to challenging abuses of power against the individual by state authorities, and specialises in acting for clients in complaints against the police and in bringing civil actions for compensation.

Marian's work also includes representing the families of individuals who have died in police or prison custody. She has a particular interest in discrimination claims against public authorities.
