Profile

David leads our South London Crown Court team. He joined us in 2008 from Fisher Meredith Solicitors where he was Operational Head of Crime. David has substantial experience of serious and complex cases including murder and fraud. Having graduated in computing he has specialist knowledge applicable to IT crime. He is a member of the SRA's Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme.David graduated from the University of Westminster in 1989. He undertook his legal training between 1993 and 1997. David qualified as a Solicitor in 1998. He was approved as a Duty Solicitor in 1999. David joined Fisher Meredith Solicitors in 2002. He was made joint head of the crime department in 2005. David speaks Brazilian Portuguese. When not working David enjoys family life and sporting recreation. He has completed the Paris, London and Berlin marathons.

HSE v. Aviance UK Ltd
Tuckers successfully represented the HSE in relation to their prosecution of a construction company after a contractor fell over three metres while working on an airbridge at Heathrow Terminal 4.

A developer and a contractor from north London, whose poor working practices left a Polish construction worker, Pawel Szczotka, permanently disabled, were fined a total of £110,000 and ordered to pay £165,000 in costs at Croydon Crown Court.
