Our client was a young lady with no previous convictions facing an allegation of causing death by careless driving. The prosecution case, on the face of it, was very strong but she was found not guilty after a submission of no case to answer. This followed our expert cross examination of a key prosecution witness, during which we were able to elicit evidence that the accident cause by the deceased motorcyclist's reckless driving at high speed.
