Richard Egan, one of our senior solicitors in London, was hailed as the Legal Aid Lawyer of The Year at a champagne reception in Central London this evening.
Particular mention was made of his outstanding work defending Lofti Raissi, an Algerian national who successfully fought America's attempt to extradite him to their country in connection with terrorism offences.
